The PC programming keeps growing and has managed to replace other machines we were used to. A clear example of this is the appearance of the IP telephony applications that contact people as the analogical telephones does, but now from a PC with an Internet connection.
There are many programs of this type but in this case we will make reference to Skype, one of the most popular. We will explain in simple steps how to use the program taking the maximum advantage.
Before starting, it is important to mention that being this a Portable version; we must transfer it to a USB device to run it later on any computer we want. Once installed, we need to copy Skype Portable file inside the USB unit so we can have it always ready to use.
The first time we run it, a window will appear requesting us to register. We will need to create an account defining a username and a password. This will be used to log in whenever we want to use the program.

After fill-in all the required fields, the program will create your account.

When it is already created, the program will start it automatically.

The following thing we need to do is to add contacts to get in touch with them. Select the option Add Contacts that is in the Contacts tab.

When clicking it, a window will appear so you can enter the contact name or the email address so that the program tracks it.

After clicking on Search, the program will show all the contacts related to the search we made. Select the one you are looking for and click on Add Contact Skype.

This way, all the contacts we add will appear on a list inside the Contacts tab.

To start a conversation, double click on the online contact. The online user appears at the top of the list with a green icon. When double clicking on it, the program will show us another window to show us if the contact answers the call.

The other way around, if we receive a call, a new window will appear where we can choose to answer it or no.

This way we can communicate through the Internet not only chatting, but also speaking. The process is quite simple and the benefits are many.
